Hi Erin! It sounds like you’ve selected the “just right”
MagicBand for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Now, let’s see what we can do about getting that band linked to your MyDisney Experience account.
Linking your MagicBand to your account takes just a few minutes! I’ll walk you through the process.
Let’s start with your
MyDisney Experience mobile app. When you open the app, tap the menu (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner). Scroll down to the heading that states, “Account.” Tap where it says, “Link to Account.” On the next screen, tap where it says “Tap.” The next screen will provide step-by-step instructions on how to link your MagicBand to your account. You’ll begin by tapping “Open Scanner to Link.” You’ll then be prompted to, “Hold your band or card close to your device.” Then, continue to follow the linking instructions.
After linking your MagicBand, you can use your app to verify that the link was successful! Head back to the “Account” page on your app. Then tap, “MagicBands & Cards.” The next page to appear will display any MagicBands that have been linked to your account!
