Hi there Catherine, welcome to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your great planning question to us.
If you have members of your family that are in need of assistance, you'll definitely want to look into
Disability Access Service at the Disneyland Resort, you'll often hear it referred to as DAS. The Disneyland Resort is always committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all Guests who enter the parks, which is wonderful.
I recommend
pre-registering for DAS with a Cast Member, which you can do using a live video chat. You can pre-register 30 days in advance of your arrival, but no less than 2 days before your arrival. When you're ready to begin your conversation with a Cast Member to register, you can use the "Request Live Video Chat" button to begin the request process. Please note that the family member that is requesting to use DAS must be present during the video call as well.
You can also
register for DAS in-person at City Hall in Disneyland Park, Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park, or at a Guest Information location. If you do qualify for DAS, it will be valid for the length of your visit or up to 60 days.
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip, Catherine, and you're able to get everything squared away for your trip! The Disney Parks Blog just released the mouthwatering
Holiday Foodie Guide, I'd definitely check this out before your trip so you know what special treats and snacks you'll want to try! If we can help with anything else to make your trip extra special,
please come back and ask.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
