planDisney. Looks like there is a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth in your future, and you’re a planner! I’m right there with you. I’m currently planning a trip with a friend, and we encountered this exact issue.
When an excited Disney pal is coming across the country to experience the magic that is Disneyland, you pull out all the stops. He’s a huge fan of
Fantasmic!, but has only experienced the show at
Disney Hollywood Studios at
Walt Disney World. Tragic! The other thing he has not experienced is the joy of the
Battered & Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich at
Cafe Orleans. I remedied both situations by booking the
Dining Package, which includes a dinner reservation at Cafe Orleans and preferred seating at the first showing of Fantasmic! Done deal. We’re going! Knowing my pal is a planner, I wanted to link him to the reservation so he could see it in the “My Plans” section of his
Disneyland Mobile App. Unfortunately, it isn’t a possibility. I linked my pal’s ticket and expected to be able to add my buddy to the reservation like you would with a
Lightning Lane, but it simply cannot be done.
It’s okay. You have the reservation, and it will simply be the responsibility of the person who made it to keep track of it in their Disneyland Mobile App. Be sure to use the Mobile Check-in function when you get close to your restaurant so the friendly cast members can prepare your table. If someone in your party happens to arrive before you, they are still able to check in using your name.
Jordan, I hope you have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort. There is so much energy in the parks right now. All the awesome shows, like

Paint the Night, and Fantasmic!, are performed nightly this time of year! We’re also only a week away from launching the new
Soarin’ Across America on July 2nd. This new version of the beloved attraction is presented in honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary. Very exciting!
