Hello there, Cheryl!
Your daughter will be so proud of your “Incredible” Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning that she’ll call you Elastigirl. I’m actually taking a grandmother-mother-daughter Walt Disney World Resort vacation at the end of the month, and it’s been so fun surprising my family with new reservations.
Now let’s get you two linked up. First, you’ll both need a
My Disney Experience account. You can link up on your computer or your mobile device. On the computer, you can go to your
“My Family & Friends List” and select
“Add a Guest.” You can add your daughter to your Family & Friends List by finding her through your connected Guests, importing her hotel reservation, or entering her name and age.
Alternatively, on the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three horizontal bars in the bottom right corner of the screen, scroll down, and select “My Profile,” followed by “Family & Friends List” at the top of the screen. If your daughter has her mobile app open, you can add her to your list by scanning her linking code on her phone.
Once you’re connected, you’ll be able to make
dining reservations,
Enchanting Extra reservations, or even make selections for
Lightning Lane entrances together. My mom and I always like to make a game of who can make the earliest Lightning Lane booking for attractions through
Disney Genie+ service at 7:00 am. I hope you have a magical vacation.
Let me know if you’re looking for any special dining reservation suggestions or if you’re interested in any other tips.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
