How do I link current tickets to old magic bands?

Hey there, Diane! Thanks for stopping by to see us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We always love it when our friends come back to visit!

It sounds like you have another Walt Disney World vacation coming just around the river bend. You must be getting so excited! Time to iron out all the last-minute details, like making sure your MagicBands are good to go!

Diane, MagicBands are not only fun to use, they're also super easy to manage. In fact, once you link MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account, you can use them on any future Walt Disney World trips without having to do a thing. Just grab your MagicBands and head for the Parks, because all MagicBands are completely interchangeable and can be used for Theme Park admission anytime as long as you have valid tickets! Do note that Disney estimates the battery life of a MagicBand to be about two years, so if you have bands much older than that, you'll likely either need to order new ones or just use the admission cards you receive when you buy Theme Park tickets.

I hope this helps you get the most of your Disney days, Diane! Please come see us again if you have any more questions. We love to help!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
