Can I link a credit card to my magicbands without staying at a Disney resort?

    Hi Brian!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question. MagicBands add convenience and a touch of magic to your day in the theme parks!

Currently, only Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can use their MagicBands to make purchases. As an off-site Guest, you would not be able to link a credit card to your MagicBand. However, as an off-site Guest, you will still be able to use your MagicBand to enter the theme parks (with a valid theme park admission ticket), check-in at FastPass+ attractions and connect Disney PhotoPass photos to your account. You can purchase MagicBands prior to your trip and link them to your My Disney Experience account from home. To purchase your MagicBands in advance of your trip, visit the Disney Store online or download the Shop Disney Parks app. You can also purchase MagicBands once you arrive by visiting select retail locations at Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope this answers your question, Brian. Please stop back and let me know if I can answer any other questions about your upcoming vacation.

    Wishing you magical memories!
