    Hello, can I link a credit card to my magic band even if I am not staying at a Disney World Resort hotel?

    Hello Kaitie! 

    Welcome again to planDisney! I love spending money at Walt Disney World Resort. It's so strange as I hate shopping at any other time but when in the Parks my wallet wants to remain open and everything that is cute and fits me is making its way to my home. 

    What I love about MagicBand+ is that it makes shopping dangerously easy. However, the shopping with just a tap feature is only available to guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. The band links to the payment card that is on file at your Disney Resort hotel room. I'm sorry Kaitie, but you can still use your band to enter the Parks, tap into Lightning Lane entrances, and interact with your environment in the Parks. There are many accepted payment methods that you can use instead. I love the Disney Visa Card as there are rewards and sometimes deals when you use it. Always ask at the register!
