How do I link a credit card to my magic band

    Hi Terry! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing your question to us! I'm glad to hear that you are planning to use a MagicBand on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. They make getting around the Most Magical Place on Earth a breeze and are definitely my favorite Disney fashion accessory!

While MagicBands can't be linked directly to a credit card, they can be linked to the hotel account of Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, your MagicBand will be linked to your hotel account and you will put a credit card on file with the hotel to use your MagicBand for purchases. You will also set up a 4-digit PIN that will be used every time you make a purchase to provide an extra layer of security.

I recommend completing Online Check-In before your visit so you can put your credit card on file and create your PIN. Then, as long as your MagicBand is linked to the same My Disney Experience account that your hotel reservation is on, you'll be all set!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Terry! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
