Welcome to planDisney, Nikki!
Thank you for visiting us today with a great question about
MagicBands. It is a pleasure to assist you as you plan your upcoming Disney vacation!
One of the many
benefits available to Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is using a MagicBand to charge food and merchandise purchases to their room account during their stay. If you are going to
Be Our Guest, please note that the credit card provided at the time of check-in will be used as the method of payment when you check out for all expenses charged to your hotel room. You are welcome to stop by Front Desk to add another method of payment. Guests who are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel may still use their MagicBands to enter theme parks and water parks (with valid admission) and connect
Disney PhotoPass images to
My Disney Experience.
planDisney tip: Even if you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may still link a credit card to My Disney Experience to pay for purchases made with
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. This is a magical way to promote physical distancing, reduced contact, and the health and safety of all Guests and Cast Members during your visit.
Nikki, have you heard about
Disney MagicMobile? This is a pixie-dusted service currently available for iPhone and Apple Watch users (coming soon to other smart devices) that allows Guests to enter the theme parks and water parks by holding their iPhone or Apple Watch near an access point, just as they would do with a MagicBand or ticket card. After linking valid admission to your Disney account, use the
My Disney Experience app to create a MagicMobile pass, add it to your Apple Wallet, and you will be ready to go!
I hope this information is helpful, Nikki! Stop by once again real soon for more tips and advice and have a magical day!
