Hey there, hi there, ho there, Randy! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Let's get you all set for a grand adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort!
I've had occasion to use comp tickets in the past, and in my experience, linking them worked just like a regular ticket. So, to get our
Donald Ducks in a row, you'll first need a
My Disney Experience account if you don't already have one. It's free to set up, and it's your key to all the fun of the Walt Disney World Resort. Now let's link that ticket!
If you have a physical card in hand, turn it over and look for an ID number on the back. If you have an e-ticket, there should be a confirmation number you can use. Once you've located the ID number, you can link the ticket using either a computer or the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone. On the computer, be sure you're logged into your My Disney Experience account and click
here for the "Link Reservations and Purchases" page, then select "Tickets." You'll be prompted to enter the number and assign the ticket. After that, you should be good to go!
The process is basically the same in the mobile app, and is probably even a bit easier. Click on the Menu icon (three lines) in the bottom right corner of your screen, and then select "Tickets and Passes." Click on the "+" sign in the upper right corner, then "Link Ticket." From there, you can enter the number or scan the barcode to link your ticket, then follow the prompts to finish. When you've done that, you should see your ticket back on the "Tickets and Passes" page. Success!
Once your ticket is linked, it's a snap to make your
Disney Park Pass reservation. Just choose your party, the date and Theme Park you want to visit, confirm, and done! Easier than
waving at Mickey Mouse in a character cavalcade!
If you have any trouble getting your ticket linked, you can
call Guest Services and a friendly Cast Member will help get it ironed out for you.
I hope this helps you plan a magical day at Walt Disney World, Randy! Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
