How do you link a child's ticket to another adult guest

    Hiya, Penny!

Welcome to planDisney! It looks like your trip to The Most Magical Place on earth is coming up very soon. I am sure that you and your Ohana are getting excited as you countdown the last few days. I'd be delighted to walk you through adding a child's ticket so that you can cross this item off of your magical to-do list and finish finalizing all of the last-minute details.

The very first step to complete would be creating a My Disney Experience account for yourself if you have not already done this. Setting up an account is super easy and only takes a few moments. Once you have created an account, be sure to link all of your upcoming travel plans. Next, you can invite any adult members of your travel party to link plans and coordinate your adventure in real-time. Okay, now that all the adults are ready to make magical plans together, let's talk about adding the younger members of your group. You can create an account in My Disney Experience for children and link their theme park tickets. It is important to note that whoever creates the account for the child will be the one who is able to manage their plans. So if you are not the adult that will be making the plans for the child, I would encourage you to have their responsible party set up their account. To get started you will select the My Family & Friends option from the My Disney Experience drop-down menu on the Walt Disney World website. Select the Add a Guest option on this page. Then you will choose the "I'll enter their name and age" selection. Once you have added the child to My Disney Experience you can assign their ticket to them and manage their plans. If another adult is managing the plans for the child, they will be able to access their ticket after it has been assigned.

If the child already has an account, and you want to share their plans with another member of your party for planning purposes, all you will need to do is give that adult access. This is done through a simple request. This option can also be found on the Family & Friends Page on My Disney Experience. Choose that same Add a Guest option and choose Find through Connected Guests if you do not have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation. If your travel party has a hotel reservation the additional adults in your party can link plans with the child via the reservation number.

To assign a ticket that is not part of a vacation package you will select the Tickets and Passes tile in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Select the ticket you wish to assign to the child and choose the Reassign option. You will need to be linked to the child's account before you can complete this step. Tickets that are part of a Walt Disney World vacation package are traditionally assigned when completing your purchase.

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
