    How do I link my children's new "adult" profiles in the mydisneyexpereience app with their profiles that were managed by me when they were younger in my friends and family list. Currently they all appear twice.

    Hello there, Kendra!

    Thanks for bringing your question to us today. I manage my Mouseketeer's My Disney Experience Accounts, but I know I'll be in your shoes one day soon. Somehow toddlers turn into teens and then adults, seemingly overnight. Thankfully, the process of merging duplicate accounts is fairly straightforward so let's get started. 

    First, you'll need to make sure you have the email addresses your adult children use to manage their accounts. They'll receive a request via email as you complete this process so you'll just need to make sure the request goes to the correct email account for each of them.

    Once you have the details confirmed, log in to your My Disney Experience Account online and select "My Family & Friends." Locate the profile that shows "Profile managed by you" and click the settings button. On the next screen click "Share Planning with..." and input the appropriate email address. Your child should receive an invitation to approve and once completed the accounts should be merged. Keep in mind, that you'll need to complete this process separately for each child.

    I went through this same process to merge the managed profile I had set up for my husband once he created his own My Disney Experience Account. Now we are both able to share planning on our trips instead of me being the only one with access to our Disney Genie+ Service selections, dining reservations, etc. It's been a big help especially when trying to secure Virtual Queues and Individual Lightning Lane entries for our favorite attractions. I'm sure your adult children will be eager to help plan your next family getaway, and you'll be glad to have their assistance!
