How do I link my Chase Disney Rewards card to my Disney account so that I can use it to pay for things like magic bands?

    Hey There, Timothy!

Welcome to planDisney.  You'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort before you know it –– I bet the excitement is really starting to set in! When I visit, I love the convenience of being able to link a payment method to my MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass without having to pull my wallet out for every purchase.  Anything that makes things simple is a vacation win in my book!  You can even link your card to your Disney Account ahead of time to pay for things like MagicBands and guarantee your advance dining reservations, which is a great way to make the planning process a little easier, too.

I think the easiest way to add a payment method to your account is right from the My Disney Experience mobile app.  From the main menu, scroll towards the bottom and tap on "My Profile".  On the next page, select "My Payment Method" and tap "Add a Payment Method" to add up to six different cards.  You can even choose to add more than one card, like your Disney Premier Visa Card and your debit card, and select which card you prefer as your default payment method.  If you'll be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can also set a pin number for your card by tapping on "Disney Resort Hotel Guest Pin" at the top of this page.  Just like a debit card, this is a great security feature for making purchases from your MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass during your vacation.

When I visit Walt Disney World, one of my favorite ways to put my stored card to good use is by using the My Disney Experience app to place a mobile order for food.  Not only does this cut down on time spent waiting in line, but I really love that I can place orders for a later time slot, especially when I'm traveling with my kids –– this gives us a chance to figure things out our when it's calm and convenient, instead of when everybody is starving in the park.  Having our order pre-scheduled also helps us plan our day, just like a dining reservation would.  When it's time to eat, all we need to do is head to the restaurant and check in on the app –– our food is usually ready to enjoy within a few minutes.  If you ask me, it's a perfect, hassle-free way to refuel before heading out to enjoy the rest of your day!

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Timothy.  If you think of more planning questions before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, I hope you'll stop by again –– we're always here to help!
