Walt Disney World experience by linking your
MagicBands with another person’s
My Disney Experience app. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can do just that.
First, make sure that both accounts are connected through the My Disney Experience app. This is typically done by adding each other as “Family & Friends” within the app. You can find this option by logging in to your account, going to "My Profile," and then selecting the “Family & Friends List” from the drop-down menu.
If you’re not already connected, you can send an invitation to the other person to connect on My Disney Experience. They will need to accept your invitation, or vice versa, if they have sent you an invitation.
Once you are connected as Family & Friends, either of you can assign a MagicBand to anyone in your connected group. Navigate to the “MagicBands and Cards” section, which is under "My Profile." Here, you can link a new MagicBand by entering the ID number located on the inside of the band.
After your MagicBands are linked, you'll be able to make and share plans, including
Disney Genie service selections, dining reservations, and more. This shared planning can really streamline your visit and help you make the most of your time at the parks.
