Welcome to planDisney, Donna!
Your Walt Disney World Resort visit will be here before you know it! Soon you'll be enjoying all the magic of the
50th Anniversary Celebration.
If you have an
active MagicBand linked to your profile that you would like to use with your new reservation, there is nothing you need to do! Your MagicBand will "automagically" work with any new reservations or tickets that are
linked to your My Disney Experience account. As long as you can view any new reservations you've made under "My Plans" on the
My Disney Experience website or "Future Plans" on the
My Disney Experience mobile app, you are good to go! No additional linking is required. If you happen to have
multiple active MagicBands linked to your profile, you are welcome to use any and all of them interchangeably.
You'll be able to use your MagicBand to access your admission with
Disney Park Pass reservations for theme park entry, enter
Lightning Lanes booked with Disney Genie+ service, and link
Disney PhotoPass photos to your account. If you'll be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll also be able to use your MagicBand to unlock the door to your room and
charge purchases to your room folio. In some older MagicBands, the long-range battery may no longer be working, and you might find your on-ride photos do not automatically connect to your account. If this is the case, I recommend creating a
Disney MagicMobile pass and saving it to the digital wallet on your mobile phone. Disney MagicMobile uses Bluetooth technology to connect your photos. Once you have it set up, you won't even need to worry about taking your phone out of your bag or pocket to connect your ride photos to your account.
Donna, I am wishing you a wonderful vacation! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
