How do I link our account with our son's. They put our account number in on their end. I can't find where to do it on our end.

Hi there, Anne! Welcome to planDisney!

A family Disney cruise is one of my favorite ways to take a family vacation! One of my favorite things about Disney Cruise Line is that it really is the perfect extended family trip. It’s so easy to find many activities for all ages on board, so there’s never a "So what do we do now?” moment in sight! They even make it easy to plan those activities together, as all it takes is linking your reservations. I would be happy to share the process to link your and your son’s reservations, so that you can begin to make all the fun Disney cruise plans together!

You can link your reservations together on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. To start, make sure your reservation is input into the app. Then go in and add your son’s reservation. You’ll add each one by signing into the app, then adding a last name, date of birth, and the reservation number of one of the members of each stateroom. Then, that’s it, they’re now linked on your end!  You can make plans with and for each other, as well as see each other’s plans and reservations.

I know that you said Disney Cruise Line already has them linked on their end, but to ensure that it's done properly, I always like to call Disney Cruise Line and make sure they’re linked for dinner purposes. This helps to let Disney Cruise Line know that you should be seated together. Disney Cruise Line will always do their best to seat linked families together, but it’s never guaranteed. However, in my experience with the many multigenerational Disney cruises I’ve been on, they really do try their best to seat us together.

When making your plans together, please remember that activities and plans are made based on each of your booking windows, which is based on each of your Castaway Club status. My suggestion is that if you’re looking for a super popular activity on board, such as Palo Brunch, for example, one of you who has the closest booking window make that reservation on the day their booking window opens and then call Disney Cruise Line to add more guests to the reservation. This is what I always do when I’m looking to book popular activities for a group.

Anne, I hope I was able to help you begin making those fun cruise family plans! I wish you all the most magical memories on board together! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.

    Bon Voyage,
    Rana
