How do the lines for rides work? We're going for the 1st time to WDW during a very popular & busy time. Can our 2 teens walk fast/ run ahead and get in line for a ride and then we catch up and join them or is this considered line-jumping/prohibited?

Hi there! Thanks for writing the panel. Line ups can get long during busy times, so here are a few tips:

    - Use your FastPasses
    - Go to the parks early in the day. You'll be amazed at how many attractions you'll get in first thing in the morning.
    - If you don't mind missing parades, lineups are often reduced at these times.

Your kids can run ahead and stand in line, but it does get tricky. Most of the queues at the theme parks are narrow and coil around, so in order for you to join them, it involves a lot of "excuse me"s and squeezing by other guests. We did this once as I had to take my daughter to the washroom, and we only did it that once. For the sake of a few minutes, it's so much easier to stay together.

Hope this helps! Write us back with any other questions.
