what are the lines like at the hotels getting to the parks for the buses? For example Art of Animation compared to French Quarter.

    Hi Derek!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm unsure if you're asking how crowded the lines are at the bus stops or what the line setup is like at the hotels. So I'll try to answer them both!

At Disney's Art of Animation Resort, the bus stop lines are organized with a very clear order of who arrived first and who will get on the bus first. There is a separate stop for each Walt Disney World theme park in front of the main building. The bus stops are uncovered, but they also have direct bus service to and from Art of Animation, meaning it doesn't share stops with other Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter
is a small resort with two bus stations right outside the main building. They are covered bus stops, and whoever gets to the bus first, gets on first. During non-peak times, it's possible for guests at Disney's Port Orleans- French Quarter to share buses with guests at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This can add additional time to get to and from the parks.

Overall, buses and lines for both resorts will be most crowded in the mornings around park opening and at night around park closing. I've had to wait for a bus or two several times at park closing, especially at Magic Kingdom park right after fireworks. If I had to choose a resort hotel based solely on bus transportation, I'd choose Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon!
