Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Patricia! I’m so glad you’re hEAR to plan your magical family vacation. I know you have lots of questions, so just like Mulan, “Let’s get down to business!”
I always use
My Disney Experience and its ticket portal to purchase Disney park tickets online. They will be synced to my complimentary MagicBand that I am offered when I book my stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. On-property hotels will be the only ones using Walt Disney World Resort transportation, but you can find shuttles that assist with others like Shades of Green - they don’t meet at the same depots or follow the same schedules, though. When staying on property, you’ll also be able to utilize
Extra Magic Hours, which allow guests to arrive early or stay late in the parks to lower crowds!
When you book a hotel room with a Disney Resort, you can have up to 5 or 6 people in the room, depending on how many they sleep (you can search the
Places to Stay page with your party number) but as long as 1 adult is present in each hotel room, you’re good to hit the hay! 2 adults and 3 children won’t be a problem, especially for rooms that sleep 6 like my favorite
CARS suites at the Art of Animation. These value plus resort rooms boast 2 full bathrooms, 1 queen bed and 2 full beds as well as a kitchenette. The theming and spacious layout was perfect for our group of six last October!
I’m really looking forward to helping you with more trip questions, so please glean a little magic from Mushu and ask me another question. I’ll see ya real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
