    David from NC Asked

Are there any “line jumper” type options at Disney World or Epcot?

Hi there David, and welcome to planDisney!

It looks like your vacation is just a dream way! I just returned from a whirlwind weekend during which I experienced the debut of Walt Disney World's 50th-anniversary celebration. From nighttime spectaculars to attraction openings, there's something new to zip-a-dee-do and see around every corner. Since it sounds like you'll be visiting EPCOT, be sure to stick around to watch Harmonious in the evening and catch a glimpse of Spaceship Earth after the show; the lights and colors are dazzling.

At this time, the only way to experience most attractions in Walt Disney World is through a standby queue. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT offers a virtual queue that can be accessed at either 7 AM or 1 PM on the My Disney Experience Mobile App. In the future, with the purchase of Genie+ and Lightning Lane, Guests will have the opportunity to bypass the standby queue for some attractions. We don't have an exact date for when the Genie will be released from the lamp, so stay tuned for the Disney Parks Blog and this page for updates and more details.

If you're looking for an extra special, personalized theme park experience that also allows you to enjoy rides without waiting in line, consider booking a Disney VIP Tour. A Disney VIP Tour Guide will help customize the perfect itinerary for your group with enough time to explore the attractions and sights. Call (407) 560-4033 to inquire about pricing and availability for your trip.

I hope this is helpful, David. These days, the best strategy for avoiding long lines is to visit your high-priority attractions early in the morning or just before park closing. This pas weekend, my group was able to experience popular rides like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith without a wait during Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests. If you'll be staying in an eligible resort and don't mind waking up early, I recommend taking advantage of this new perk.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, and we look forward to seeing ya real soon!
