if we are on line for Flight of Passage as the park is closing, will we still be able to ride?

    Sivako Caroline!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance with your great question! It just so happens that a couple of weeks ago, several of my kids and I tested this scenario. I told them it was, "All in the name of research". We actually asked a Cast Member earlier in the day if this was an option. It turns out that you can get in line for Avatar Flight of Passage until a couple minutes prior to park closing and you'll be able to ride. The outside section of the queue is quite breathtaking late at night. A few things to note: The posted wait time for the ride was literally an hour longer than what we actually ended up waiting. In our case, the posted wait time was 155 minutes. We rode within 90 minutes. My theory was that they were attempting to discourage people from getting into the queue at closing time, but it could have been a fluke. The other item which you will want to keep in mind is that the shuttles to the parking lots stop running after a certain time. We caught the last one of the night, luckily. Based on all of the cars left in the lot when we were leaving, a lot of people had quite a hike to their cars that night. In my opinion, Avatar Flight of Passage, would be worth walking for miles for the chance to ride it. I've ridden it five times so far and it continues to leave me speechless every single time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

    Wishing you magical memories,
