With on line check in do I skip going to the front desk?

    Hi Joseph,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm a big fan of online check-in at the Walt Disney World resorts. Online check-in allows you to alert the resort to your arrival and departure times; make special requests; and get your room number emailed or texted to you when your room is ready.

You can skip the front desk if you wish, though you can still stop by the desk if you have questions or want to pick up a resort map or welcome pack.

Because we are regular visitors, we usually don't have any need to go to the desk. We arrive, use our MagicBand to access the parking lot and head straight to our room to drop our bags. If our room isn't ready, we simply park and hop on a bus for a theme park or Disney Springs.

I love getting on my way to my vacation fun as quickly as possible, even if it's just by a few minutes.

I hope that helps, Joseph. Please let us know if you have any more questions. As you know, we're always happy to share our experiences with other guests. Enjoy!
