Howdy, Jessica! I love that you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort after the summer heat has fled; it’s great to don a hoodie around Magic Kingdom. I’m glad to share packing items that will make your family trip easier!
Wearing layers in February is the best idea, since those evening fireworks can be a tad chilly. A ski cap for the little one helps a lot, too! I bring our autograph book with a large, clickable sharpie so Mickey and Pluto can easily use them to autograph our wares! Since I’m an avid pin trader and my son plays
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, those items always make our park backpack alongside our sunglasses, refillable water bottle, and granola bars for snack breaks. Items in your bag like wet wipes and sanitizer will be helpful, too.
Extremely comfortable shoes and socks (running shoes/sneakers) are just about the only thing we wear while on vacation, kids included. Our Fitbits usually hit record numbers while walking the parks and riding the buses. I might wear my Tieks to dinner on Resort or to Disney Springs. If you’re an avid tech user, a portable battery and corn can be invaluable mid-day to check FastPass+ times or find a dinner reservation. I love my
Mickey Poncho, which I bought many moons ago - it’s handy for pop-up showers AND that ride down Splash Mountain. You may want your swimsuits if a nice day drops by; many of the pools and waterparks on property are warmed for your comfort!
If you ever find you forgot something, you can always pop down to your Resort gift shop, or my favorite, peruse the many shops at the expanded
Disney Springs. Above all, enjoy your pixie-dusted vacation! ~Lindsey
