Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Louise! I’m happy you’re hEAR! Your magical vacation is only a few months away and I’m glad to see you’re planning out your days. I love to plan a few must-do activities for each day and spend the rest of the day finding magic!
Unfortunately, these thrill attractions at Walt Disney World Resort do not offer a row of seating that doesn’t move. Every seat in the
Avatar Flight of Passage theatre or ride area will dip and glide as the Imagineers intended. When I visited with my family and was expecting my daughter, I had to sit out on Star Tours as well as the rollercoasters, which I really missed! A few attractions can be finagled with in order to have a more still or calming experience, like holding the steering wheel of the teacups still so you simply glide instead of spin, or choosing the
Green Mission on Mission Space that does not spin and offers a family friendly experience. If that still seems a bit much for you, try the “conveyor belt” rides like Haunted Mansion or
Peter Pan's Flight that are smooth, slow and really enjoyable, even for my baby girl.
If I can help you sort out which other attractions might be for you, please feel free to ask me another question. Like Woody, you’ve got a friend in me, and I’m ready to help! ~ Lindsey P.
