Hi there, Erin!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your great question! In my opinion, one of the best perks of cruising with Captain Mickey is that
Disney Cruise Line allows Guests to bring water and alcohol with them onboard. There is no limit as to how much water you can bring onboard, but just be aware that you will need to keep it as part of your carry-on luggage and not with your checked baggage that will be delivered to your stateroom. So, basically, if you can carry it – and keep up with it – you can bring it! Staterooms are typically not ready for Guests to enter until after 1:30PM on embarkation day, so be aware that you will also have to keep any carry-on luggage with you until you have access to your stateroom. My family will typically purchase a case of water bottles and bring onboard with us. If we are traveling with a stroller, we will put the water in there to make it a little easier for us to move it around! If we find we need additional water, we will either purchase onboard or buy some at the ports of call we visit!
If you do plan on bringing aboard alcohol with you, please be sure you adhere to Disney Cruise Line’s
alcohol policy which permits each Guest 21 years or older to bring up to 2 bottles of wine (750ml max each) OR up to 6 bottles of beer (12oz each). This can be done at each port of call, which my husband likes to take advantage of and bring back local beers from port!
Please come back with any other questions you may have as your planning continues!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
