Is there a limited menu at the California Grill when on the dinning plan?

    Hi Julie,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question!

My absolute favorite restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort is California Grill. This restaurant combines delectable cuisine with the best views of Happily Ever After over Magic Kingdom Park. I recommend making reservations for about an hour and a half before the fireworks. You will be able to enjoy incredible views of Magic Kingdom Park with the spectacular fireworks bursting over Cinderella Castle. That experience alone will be practically perfect in every way!

If using the Disney Dining Plan, you will need to redeem 2 meal entitlements per person at California Grill. That's because this is a Fine/Signature Disney restaurant. Since you will be using meal credits, you will receive one entrée, one dessert and one non-alcoholic beverage (or an alcoholic beverage, for Guests 21 and older —2018 plan only). With the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan you would also get one appetizer.

So long as you work within the meal guidelines mentioned above, you may order anything you wish from their Dinner Menu. I was just there last week celebrating my birthday, and highly recommend their Oak-fired Choice Angus Filet of Beef paired with a glass of a French label Cabernet Sauvignon.

I hope you found this information useful, Julie. Please visit us again with more questions. We would love to sprinkle a little pixie dust on your Disney vacation plans, and help you discover the true Power of Magic!
