Hi there, Robert. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your questions for us. Welcome to planDisney!
I just returned from a 3-day visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth over the weekend. I’m already counting down the days ‘till my next visit! After seeing viral videos of the long lines to enter Disneyland Resort and the packed-like-sardines-crowd, I can honestly say it did not feel that way whatsoever during my visit with my fellow planDisney Panelist friends. There were parts of
Avengers Campus that were crowded, especially during showtimes or peak dining hours. Of course, as expected, with Avengers Campus newly opened, many Guests are flocking to experience it first-hand. However, once we left the Avengers Campus vicinity, most places did not feel at “full capacity”. We strolled down a fairly empty Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park, hopped over The Esplanade to Disneyland Park to a pretty open Main Street, U.S.A. It did not feel like pre-pandemic full capacity level. Again, popular new areas were busier and more crowded, so please be prepared for this when you visit.
The
current policy states that if you’re fully vaccinated, you’re fine to enjoy the theme parks without a mask. My fellow planDisney Panelist friends and I are vaccinated, and we roamed about much of the theme parks without masks and felt safe. However, in certain indoor spaces where there is less room to spread out, we did put on our masks while we enjoyed the attractions. Moreover, hand sanitizers are abundant throughout the theme parks, especially at the exit of each attractions for you to clean your hands.
I hope you’ll have a wonderful visit on June 23, 2021. If you have more questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
