Is there a limit to using Genie plus

    Hi Len,

Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. We here at planDisney love helping guest to plan magical Walt Disney World vacations!

I am happy to help you think about using Disney Genie+ Service while you are at Walt Disney World. Disney Genie+ Service will allow you to experience some attractions throughout your day with shortened wait times by using Lightening Lanes. Lightening Lanes allow you to skip the standby queue.

I believe that you are asking if there is a maximum number of times that you can use Lightening Lanes throughout the day when you have Disney Genie+ Service. There is not; however, there are few guidelines around how and when you can make these Lightening Lane selections. Once you have purchased Disney Genie+, you will be able to make your first Lightening Lane selection for the day at 7:00 a.m. After that, you can make each subsequent Lightening Lane selection after you have used the one that you have already made, or after two hours have elapsed, whichever comes first. Please do note that this two-hour window starts at park opening, even if you did make that first selection at 7:00 a.m. You can also only use a Lightening Lane once per day per attraction, but you are welcome to experience as many different attractions throughout the day as you like using Lightening Lanes following the guidelines above. If you wanted to experience a particular attraction more than once and had already used the Lightening Lane for it that day, you could absolutely experience the attraction again using the standby queue.

On the Disney Genie+ Service webpage that I linked, it does indicate that on average guests experience about two to three attractions per day with Lightening Lanes using Disney Genie+ Service. However, this is an average, and as long as you stay within the guidelines I mentioned above, you are good to go!

I am reminded by your question of a day that I spent with family and friends at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Our friends do not visit Walt Disney World as often as we do, and really wanted to maximize the number of attractions they could experience in a day. With judicious use of Disney Genie+ Service, as well as purchasing an Individual Lightening Lane, which is an additional purchase outside of Disney Genie+ Service, for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, they were able to experience everything that they wanted to in that day. I so remember being in Toy Story Land for the last ride of the night, Slinky Dog Dash. Everyone was tired and happy and satisfied, and looking at the beautiful lights in that land was a lovely way to end the evening.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Len. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do feel free to come back if you have any further questions.
