Is there a limit to the number of bags you can take on the Disney Magical Express? My husband and I received our luggage tags today, but only received two; I know at least one of us will have two bags, if not both of us.

Hello Jessica, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such an important question.

I am so excited that your magical trip begins in just a few days. If you are like me you are daydreaming about having your first Dole Whip when you should be packing. I am happy to tell you that there is no limit to the number of bags you can bring along when using Disney’s Magical Express®. Keep in mind your airline may require fees for extra baggage, but there is no limit to the amount of fun you can pack for your magical vacation.

Even though you and your husband only received one yellow luggage tag, Hakuna Matata. You will each tag one bag before checking all of them at your point of departure. When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, proceed directly to Disney’s Magical Express® on the Ground Transportation Level 1, Side A. When you check-in with a Cast Member to board your motorcoach, let them know that you have additional bags that did not have a yellow tag on them. They will ask to see your bag claim tickets and make a note of your claim numbers. Disney’s Magical Express® Baggage Team will handle the rest. Don’t forget to pack your MagicBands in your carry-on luggage, you will need them to check-in with Magical Express and unlock the door to your resort hotel room. You are going to have a wonderful trip!

    See ya real soon,
