Hi Candice!
I am so glad you stopped by with your questions about cruising with the littlest Mouseketeers! My husband and I started sailing on the “Mickey Boat” when our boys were itty bitty; even if your littles won’t remember, you sure will – and thankfully Disney Cruise Line makes it
very convenient.
Unfortunately, due to fire code regulations, Disney Cruise Line does not allow more than one pack and play in a stateroom. I understand this may cause a challenge for you, but some options are using bedrails for one or sharing a bed with one. Another consideration that may be worth looking at is booking a second room, preferably an adjoining room. We have not done this but have friends that did, and it allowed the littles to nap a while allowing the adults some freedom to move around while they were snoozing! Contact Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent to discuss this option and availability.
Yes, you can bring snacks with you for your stateroom and I do recommend this! Even with the abundance of food onboard, little ones can be somewhat particular and having snacks on hand will help! You can also request any pureed foods from your dining room server and remember that Room Service is available 24-hours a day.
Disney Cruise Line ships are very stroller friendly, but I would recommend bringing two umbrella strollers as opposed to a double stroller if possible. You will be able to navigate better, and they will easily stow away under the bed in your
stateroom. At dinner there is a designated area where you can leave your stroller(s).
Please come back with any other questions you have about traveling with those little ones!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
