I want to limit my children's ability to charge items with their magic bands, how do I do that?

    Hi Joseph!

MagicBands are such a convenient accessory to have while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!  Not only can you use them to unlock your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room door, enter the theme parks (with valid theme park admission), check in for your FastPass+ selections, and link your Disney PhotoPass Photos to your My Disney Experience account, but when you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can also use them to charge food and merchandise purchases back to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room!

That being said, I completely understand why you would want to be able to limit the amount that your children can charge to the room using their MagicBands.  Luckily, when you arrive at the resort, you can speak with the Cast Members at the Front Desk who will be able to add charging privileges to or remove charging privileges from each individual MagicBand that is associated with your reservation.  If you would like your children to still be able to use their MagicBands to make purchases, but you want to limit their spending, the Cast Members at the Front Desk will also be able to limit the amount that can be charged on each individual MagicBand!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
