Hi Jeffery,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I just got back from an amazing week at Walt Disney World, and my husband and I had our very first Disney Date Night! We had a great time and the kiddos had a great time – that’s what I call a magical win-win.
While we enjoyed some fantastic cocktails at Abracadabar and strolled Disney’s BoardWalk, our two Mouseketeers (who are close in age to yours) spent the night at
Pixar Play Zone, which is a new kids’ club at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Throughout the night, they participated in different activities themed to Pixar movies, led by Disney Cast Members and some very special Guest characters. My son loved the Incredibles Dance Party, while my daughter’s favorite part was Woody’s Round-Up. Pixar Play Zone is for children aged 4-12, and my daughter was a little concerned she would be too old to enjoy it, but she really did have a good time. In addition to the programming, there are video games, and they watched a few Pixar short films too. The cost is currently $65 per child plus tax, which includes dinner and a snack (children choose options from a menu when you check them in). Preregistration begins at 5:00 p.m. and children must be picked up by 10:30 p.m. To make a reservation, or to ask questions, please call (407) 824-KIDS.
Jeffery, another option is to use
Kids Night Out, which is a babysitting service at Walt Disney World. I’ve never used them, but have heard good things. You can reach them at (407) 828-0920 to make a reservation or ask any questions you might have about their services.
I hope you have a great Disney Date Night, and that your kids have a blast too!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
