Ahoy there, Lisa, and welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Stitch-lover, I completely understand why you’d want to snag some time with our favorite blue alien and his cute little companion during your Disney Cruise Line vacation, so let me see if I can make your character-spotting dreams come true.
While
Character Greetings vary by sailing, my best advice is to keep an eye on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app during your voyage. That’s your go-to guide for daily schedules, including character meet and greets. Stitch often pops up for photos, and on some sailings, I’ve even been surprised to see both Lilo and Stitch join in an afternoon dance party on
Castaway Cay! If you’re hoping for a little more predictability, you can always check with Guest Services on the island (or on your ship) to see if there have been any Stitch spottings that day.
Depending on when you cruise, you may also be able to watch the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie onboard. Fingers crossed that we might even be able to find a Stitch popcorn bucket for sale soon, too! I'm even more excited for what's to come next year: the
Disney Adventure (scheduled to set sail in early 2026) will feature Stitch's Ohana Grill, a Hawaiian-style eatery that’s sure to delight all our senses as we gather for a meal with family and friends.
Speaking of souvenirs, if you’d like to take a little bit of Stitch home with you, you’ll find plenty of themed merchandise at
Mickey’s Mainsail. From cuddly plushies to pins and playful accessories, it’s the perfect way to keep a piece of Experiment 626 with you long after your cruise.
Lisa, I hope Stitch finds a way to show up to make your vacation extra memorable whenever you do decide to catch a wave. Until then, if you think of any more out-of-this-world questions, I hope you’ll fly back to us again here at
planDisney.
Embrace the magic,
Sami
