Hey there, hi there, Ashley! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your question for us!
All aboard! It looks like you are ready to hit the tracks and embark on your journey to Disneyland Resort very soon! That's really exciting, and what a magical time to visit! It sounds like we both have one of the same items on our Disney bucket list, riding in the Lilly Belle. Unfortunately, I have scoured my resources and friend list and this question still remains a bit of a mystery. As far as I know, the Lilly Belle isn't currently accepting Guests to walk up and ride. It seems like this experience has been reserved for VIP Tours, maybe Club 33 members, and special circumstances since the guided
Grand Circle Tour paused a few years ago. Over the last year, some past guided tours have returned so let's remain hopeful that this may be one of them for a future return! Of course, it never hurts to check in with a Cast Member or Conductor near the Main Street Train Station to get first-hand information on this topic.
Whether or not the Lily Belle is running or available, I hope you
hitch a ride around the park on your visit. It's one of my favorite ways to take a mid-park day rest. This allows you to still take in all the sights and sounds, but rest your feet for a bit. This will be especially fun during the holiday season to be able to take in all the decor. I love when I am able to line my ride up with the parade time and sometimes get a sneak peek of a float or character ready to make their parade debut or exit near the
"it's a small world" Holiday crossing.
Ashley, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope your visit is full of magic and holiday cheer!
Carrie
