    Hi there, me and my lil family will be at DW at the end of December 2014 and we want to plan something truly special on New years eve! Could you suggest us a must see parade or special events? Thanks

    Hi Tania!  New Years Eve is a fun night while at Walt Disney World. While the resorts don't hold parties due to noise and respect for all their guests, the parks will be hopping with celebrations. If you have younger children I suggest heading to the Magic Kingdom where it is a family oriented atmosphere. There will be parades and spectacular fireworks!

    If you have older children you can consider Epcot. The holiday Illuminations show is wonderful alone but then it is followed by again spectacular fireworks. A word of warning for this park is that they do sell alcohol in the World Showcase so the atmosphere here can be a bit more festive.

    Hollywood Studios will likely also have some fireworks as well and would put this park somewhere in between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot as far as where to go. It will just depend on the age of the children and if you wish for something more then just  a good fireworks display. No matter where you end up it will be a memorable evening. 

    Please know the parks will fill to capacity on this day so be sure and get there early!
