Bright suns, Suzanne! Welcome to planDisney.
You're in for an incredible journey to the Black Spire Outpost. Whether you're sipping
blue milk near the
Millennium Falcon or haggling with Dok-Ondar over a rare kyber crystal,
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is bursting with adventure. And building a lightsaber at
Savi’s Workshop is a rite of passage for those called to the Force.
Suzanne, I completely understand your concern, and you’re not alone in wondering how best to experience this with your family. When building a lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop, each builder may only bring one guest inside the experience with them. However, Cast Members (known on Batuu as "Gatherers") are deeply understanding, especially when it comes to the unique needs of younglings and their families. Whilst policy allows for just one guest per builder, I strongly recommend speaking with a Cast Member at the workshop ahead of time to explain your situation. They will do their best to accommodate, however, there are no guarantees, as space is extremely limited in the workshop. I wish I had better news for you, Suzanne.
If you decide to take a chance and book this experience, consider visiting Savi’s during a quieter part of the day. Early morning or just before park closes tends to be more peaceful, which can be helpful for those who may find crowds or noise overwhelming. You might also bring noise-reducing headphones for your daughter, as the experience includes music and sound effects that can be intense for some younglings. May the Force be with you, Suzanne.
