Hello! How likely would it be to hop into the standby line of the Frozen Ever After if we did an earlier character breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall before the park officially opened? Thanks for your time.

Greetings Amber! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so happy to see you here again with another magical vacation planning question; I'd be happy to assist you.

My little prince and princess are big fans of the film, Frozen and the sisters from Arendelle, so a visit to Norway is always on our must-do list when we visit EPCOT. Because my thrill-seeking little guy enjoys Test Track and Soarin' Around the World, we tend to use a FastPass+ selection on one of these attractions and make Frozen Ever After our first ride of the day. Walking at a relaxed pace from the main entrance of the theme park at opening generally allows us to experience Frozen Ever After and pay a visit to Anna and Elsa in the Royal Sommerhus without waiting in a long line. We have even been fortunate enough to take a second boat ride through the wintry world of Frozen with a limited wait following the trip through the Royal Summerhus. It is certainly possible to enjoy all the attractions in the Norway Pavilion with minimal waits within the first hour of park opening.

If possible, schedule breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall as much as one hour prior to park opening so you are able to experience the attractions in Norway as soon as they are operational. If you finish your meal before the scheduled park opening, you will be able to line up outside of Frozen Ever After and likely be one of the first to ride. Another option that works with my children who are light breakfast eaters, but ravenous by late morning, is to reserve breakfast in the 10:00 hour. This allows your family to take advantage of early morning theme park touring, and sit down for a relaxed table-service meal after enjoying your highest priority attractions.

I hope this helps as you prepare to have the best day ever in my favorite Walt Disney World theme park, EPCOT. Be sure to keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for more information as to when our favorite little chef, Remy, will be joining the attraction lineup in the World Showcase.

    Wishing you magic and memories,
