How likely is it that Disney photo pass photographers will take pictures using my camera? Is it common for people to ask them to use personal cameras? I'm not interested in purchasing a photo pass cd if cast members will take family photos. Thanks!

    Hi Katy,

The Disney PhotoPass Photographers will certainly use your camera or phone to take your pictures throughout the theme parks and Character Greetings.  Usually they will only take one or two shots as there usually is others waiting for the same photograph.  I would still have them take your picture with their cameras for a couple of reasons.  First, they are accustomed to getting the best shot with the camera that they use all the time.  Second, they are able to make your pictures magical.  You can ask them for some extra magic and will be surprised at how they turn out.  You do not need to purchase the whole CD;  you can order individual photos as well.  I hope you have a magical vacation, Katy, and are able to capture wonderful memories on film.
