I return to Walt Disney World because it's a different vacation every time. I like to stay at different hotels, see different shows, and experience it with different people. For example, in June, I got to spend more time at the water parks. And my son was able to share time with his grandmother. I got to have tea with my Mom at the Grand Floridian. When my son was 2, I watched my son greet Mickey for the first time. I saw my son soar on Dumbo with his grandparents. In January 2009, my son's Nana is looking forward to going on Space Mountain with him. Last time, she rode Peter Pan with him. I return because the Cast Members always make our vacations magical, even in just a small way. Giving my son a sticker when he was crying because it was raining outside. Sending a rose to our room on our anniversary. I return because of the nearly 30 years of memories that were created there, including my first trip at 11 with my grandparents. My grandmother passed away two years later. Once back in WDW, I know that are family is going to enjoy special bonding time. We will reminisce about past trips and create new lasting memories as well. I like that we can visit thrill rides for my husband, let my son live out Star Wars fantasies and go on safari to live out my own dreams. I believe in magic and fairy tales. The lyrics to "Remember the Magic" by Brian McKnight perfectly explain what WDW means to me! In fact, my husband and I have that phrase engraved on the outside of the wedding bands that we exchanged at our Disney vow renewal.
Walt Disney was a magical story-teller. I love stories. And I cherish "writing" pages of our own family history while together at WDW!
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
