When are all the Christmas/Holiday lights up at Disney?

    Hi Bethany!

Don't you just love Christmas at Walt Disney World? Of all the times my family has visited, that is our favorite season of all. There is nothing quite as magical as seeing the Parks and Resorts all dressed up in their holiday cheer!

Typically, as soon as the pumpkins and ghosts of Halloween start to come down, the lights and garlands of Christmas start to go up. It's actually remarkable how quickly Mickey and his friends transform everything to get ready for the holidays! Decorations are up and ready to go by the first night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which, in 2016, was November 7. Watch the Disney Parks Blog for the official announcement this summer of the exact dates for Mickey's 2017 Party. That's a good way to know when the final touches will be complete and Christmas will be in the air!

Thanks for stopping by. Please let us know if we can do anything else to help you.

    Have a wonderful day!
