Fantasmic! There's just something about the magical tunes from my childhood, colorful cast of characters, and iconic Mickey moments (and outfits) that make me believe anything is possible.
I arrived early and snagged a front-row seat for Fantasmic! just this week and found myself checking the My Disney Experience app as I waited for the show to begin to make sure I hadn't overlooked reserved seating as an option through Lightning Lane Multi Pass. My research indicated that reserved seating for Fantasmic! is indeed unavailable through the
new Lightning Lane system at this time. While this can be disappointing for those hoping to bypass a long queue for the best seats, the
Fantasmic! Dining Package is a great alternative that serves the same purpose (with a bit of an added bonus). This package includes a delicious meal (for breakfast, lunch, or dinner) at select restaurants as well as guaranteed seating for Fantasmic! in the middle sections of the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre.
If you're not looking to purchase a dining package but still want a great view of Mickey's imaginative powers without a wait, you'll want to check the
Hours & Events Calendar and attend the second Fantasmic! performance of the evening when possible. In my experience, crowds are much lower for this performance and incredible seats are typically available for those walking up minutes before the show begins.
