Can you make Lightning Lane selections 2 hours apart? If I make a choice at 7am, do I wait until 9am to make a second, regardless of ride time? Or is it 2 hours after your chosen park opens? Just a bit confused!

    Hi Lindsay!

I'm glad to see that you're planning on using the Disney Genie+ Service during your vacation because it's a great way to maximize your time in the theme parks. I love using it to ensure my family can enjoy the attractions and entertainment experiences on our "must-do" list!

Reserving Lightning Lanes can be a confusing process, so I'm happy to help you with your question. When using the Disney Genie+ Service, you can make new Lightning Lane reservations either once you redeem your previous Lightning Lane reservation or two hours after you made your last reservation. Keep in mind that you can make your initial reservation at 7:00 a.m. and then your next reservation can be made either once you redeem your first reservation or two hours after your theme park opens. Be sure to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience mobile app as it will remind you throughout the day of the time you can make your next Lightning Lane reservation!

Lindsay, I recommend that you bring an external battery charger for your phone when you're visiting the theme parks. I use my phone throughout my day for photographs, Lightning Lane reservations, Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, and more and in my experience, sometimes my battery gets low by the late afternoon or evening. So an external battery charger will allow you to continue accessing all of these mobile tools throughout your magical day!

Feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions as your trip approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
