Lightning Lane Passes; however, purchasing Lightning Lane Premier Pass is subject to limited quantities, and especially during the busy holiday season, it is likely to sell out in advance. I did log into my
My Disney Experience mobile app this morning to find that Premier Pass is unavailable again until January 2 at this time. While I realize this might not be the news you were hoping for, I do see availability to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for any of the four theme parks on your day of arrival, and several days after, so this is another great option to help you experience some of the most
popular attractions with shorter wait times! If you decide to purchase Multi Pass, remember that you can reserve return times for 3 attractions in advance of your visit, but each time you redeem an existing Lightning Lane Pass, you're eligible to book an additional one!
Another strategy I find that helps to lessen wait times is to take advantage of extra time in the parks if you're staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel. Utilizing my favorite onsite perk,
Early Theme Park Entry, you can take advantage of an extra 30 minutes in each park every single day before the park's official opening time. If you plan to use this time, I always recommend arriving at least 30-45 minutes before the posted early entry time to make the most of your early morning magic and stay ahead of the crowds.
