Hiya Kimberly!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Lightning Lane question! As a Florida resident who frequently pops into the parks with my family, I can say Lightning Lanes have saved us time in line on many occasions.
So, let’s dive right into it! When purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll head into the My Disney Experience app and choose the park you’re visiting. Pricing varies by park and date. Lucky, you can view pricing up to 21 days in advance in the
My Disney Experience app. Just keep in mind that there will be higher pricing during peak seasons and holidays.
After purchasing, you can select up to
3 attractions with arrival windows in that park. Here’s the pixie-dusted part: Once you scan into and use your first Lightning Lane selection, you can book another attraction (subject to availability) at no additional cost.
You are not charged per additional ride; the initial Multi Pass purchase covers it. As long as availability allows, you can continue booking one at a time after using each selection throughout the day. It’s a fantastic way to maximize rides, especially if you’re hopping between classics like
Peter Pan’s Flight and
Space Mountain!
Just a little heads-up, some of the most popular, headliner attractions aren’t included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass lineup. Those typically require purchasing a
Lightning Lane Single Pass separately. But here’s the good news. You can absolutely hold both a Lightning Lane Multi Pass and a Single Pass at the same time.
So, if there’s that one must-do attraction your family is dreaming about, you can grab a Single Pass for it and still select your Multi Pass selections for the rest of the day. We typically do this with
Rise of the Resistance. It is my daughter's favorite ride!
Kimberly, I hope this helps you plan a smooth and magical park day. If you have any more questions, feel free to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
