Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Nathan!
You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. How exciting that your upcoming stay is just around the riverbend. Because you are almost at your 7 days prior to your Resort check-in date, I'll get to your answer faster than fast and quicker than quick!
Nathan, one of the perks of being a
Disney Resort Hotel Guest is that you can purchase and select your first three initial
Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections, and purchase the Lightning Lane Single Passes, beginning seven days before your Resort check-in date for the entirety of your stay up to 10 days. This window is for the theme park visits you plan to visit the theme parks during your Disney Resort Hotel Stay.
For the day before your Disney Resort Hotel Check-in date, you can only purchase and select your first three initial Lightning Lane Multipass selections, and purchase your Lightning Lane Single Pass, for that park beginning three days prior to that park day. This is because you will be a day Guest on this day, since it will be before the Disney Resort Hotel Check-in date, and the window is the same for all day Guests to the theme parks.
The system is set up based on your Disney Resort Hotel Check-in date and will say in your
My Disney Experience app when you can make those Lightning Lane purchases and selections. It will not allow you to make them prior to the window allotted (either your Disney Resort Hotel Check-In date for Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel or for non-Resort Guests, three days prior to your theme park visit.)
In my experience, there is still a lot of availability for selections, even three days prior to your Disney theme park visit date. The Lightning Lane Single Passes do tend to go first, so my recommendation would be to mark your calendar for both your 7-day booking window for the theme park days you plan to visit on or after your Disney Resort Check-In day and book those first. I would do the same for the three-day booking window for your theme park visit day before your Disney Resort Check-In day. The window will open on those dates beginning at 7 a.m. for you, and I recommend booking as early in the day as possible to maximize available selections.
I hope this helps you, Nathan! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, soar back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you!
Magically Yours,
Keri
