How do we make lightening pass reservations

Hey there, hi there, Nancy! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you are here!

The countdown is on and you'll be enjoying the magic of Disneyland Resort in less than a week! It sounds like you may have purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass with the purchase of your theme park tickets. If not, you'll be able to make a same-day purchase once you've scanned your ticket into the parks. Either way, purchasing and/or using Multi Pass will all take place in the Disneyland app so be sure to have your theme park tickets linked to your Disney account before arrival to make it a seamless experience.

Once you've scanned into the parks, open the Disneyland app and right at the top of the home screen you should see a prompt to select your Lightning Lane. You can also access this by tapping on the "+" at the bottom of the screen and then by tapping "Book Lightning Lane Entry". This will take you to the tip board where you can see all the attractions with their standby line times and the soonest time available for Multi Pass. It should populate to the park you are currently in, but if not you can change the park at the top of the Tip Board. You will tap the attraction Multi Pass Experience that you wish to book and continue with the prompts on the screen. You can then select another Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience 2 hours later or after redeeming your last Lightning Lane Multi Pass whichever comes first. There will be a reminder on the Tip Board of when you can make your next selection. If you leave the Disneyland app or head back to the home screen it should show you your upcoming selections and allow you to tap them to bring you to the barcodes to redeem. You can also use your park tickets or MagicBand+ if you have those.

If for any reason you have issues or questions in the parks, look for the umbrellas and kiosks throughout the parks with Guest Relations Cast Members who are ready to help.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Nancy! We are here if you have any other last-minute planning questions. See you real soon!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
