I want to make lightening lane selections for Hollywood studios at night. If I buy the LL for that and then go to Epcot in the morning, can I make Epcot LL for before I use HS ones using the 2 hour rule

    Hi Anna! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm excited to hear that you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon! With everything that goes into the planning process, I'm sure you are ready to begin experiencing all the magic that awaits you. Let's dive into your question and help you get set for a magical stay!

When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you must select one of the four theme parks. This will allow you to book up to three attractions in advance of your stay at the park you selected. On the day of your visit, you must begin using the Lightning Lanes you selected before choosing any others. If you booked Multi Pass for Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will need to use your first selection before you can book another Lightning Lane at a different park. In your scenario, you will be unable to book Lightning Lanes at EPCOT until you visit Hollywood Studios first. Your best bet will be to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass at EPCOT and plan your attractions at this park first. Then, once you arrive in the morning and begin using your selections, you can begin booking Lightning Lanes for Hollywood Studios.

While I know this may not be ideal, this is the current process in place for utilizing Lightning Lane Multi Pass. If booking attractions at Hollywood Studios is a priority, I suggest sticking with your original plan. However, instead of using this service at EPCOT, I would arrive early and try to ride attractions with minimal wait times. If you are staying in a Disney Resort hotel, you can utilize Early Theme Park Entry and enter the park up to 30 minutes early before the official park opening time. This will allow you to get a head start on other Guests. You can also purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ahead of time and not have to prioritize this attraction during Early Entry. You should be able to fit in most of the attractions you want and still have your Lightning Lanes ready to go for Hollywood Studios.

Anna, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
