Have they lifted the restrictions on tapping in to your reserved park before park hopping yet?

Hi Jake! Thanks for bringing your great planning question to planDisney! You are just days away from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It sounds like you’ll be doing some Park Hopping during your visit! The Park Hopper ticket is a great way for Guests to add flexibility to their park-going strategy!

At the present time, Park Hopping can begin at 2:00 PM. To Park Hop, Guests must have a Park Hopper ticket as well as a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park they wish to visit during the day. You don’t have to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the park to which you’ll hop. Just make sure that you’ve already scanned into your first park before hopping to the next park. If you haven’t scanned into the first park, you won’t be allowed to enter the second park.

Jake, the Walt Disney World Resort wants to make your “hop” convenient! To do so, complimentary transportation is available from park-to-park! Just head out to the designated transportation area at any park and look for the bus (or Monorail or Disney Skyliner) headed to the park to which you want to hop! Sit back, relax, and enjoy your hop!

    Happy Planning!
