Hi Tammy,
That would be a wonderful surprise! On the Disney Dream,
Arr-Cade is the place for finding the latest video games as well as some of the classics! This is a cashless system, so you will be required to purchase credits that will be placed on an arcade card. Although we don't have any first-hand reports yet, I am guessing that games will start at fifty-cents per play and go up from there. Many parents will load $10 per day on an arcade card for their child and it is up to them to spend it wisely. It's also worth mentioning that the youth clubs have lots of video and computer games as well, for no additional charge.
I am super excited to try out the new miniature golf course onboard the Disney Dream, I think it will be a welcome addition to the onboard entertainment choices! The course is located on
Goofy's Sports Deck and is included with your cruise.
As for snacks, the items available for purchase at the theaters are typically priced in the same ballpark you would expect at a stateside movie theater. Reading between the lines, you've probably figured out that it is fairly expensive. Since it's included, I'll grab a bag of chips and a drink from the pool deck for the kids to enjoy during the show rather than purchasing theater snacks.
I hope your dream comes true - good luck and happy planning!
