Are there life jackets on board for children to use when swimming or using water slides?

Hey there, ahoy there Lana, and welcome to planDisney. Did you know that 5 Keys guide all interactions with Disney team members and guests? Number 1 is safety.

Aboard Disney Cruise Line vessels are plenty of safety measures. From the heights of the rails to the visual signs if there is a height change on the floor, Disney wants every guest to be safe at all times. For those sailors who require (per Disney) or need (per skill level) floatation assistance, there are plenty of complimentary life vests on the pool deck and at Castaway Cay (on select itineraries) of all sizes. They are usually found near the children's splash pad area. If you need help finding the location or the right size, a Cast Member is available to help.

planDisney Pro Tip: Waterslides, such as the AquaDuck, AquaDunk, AquaMouse, and Pelican Plunge (Castaway Cay), have height and personal flotation device requirements depending on the child's height. Check out the landing page for each experience for more details.

Lana, I remember the first time swimming and sliding with my little ones on our first Disney cruise, and still smile about it to this day. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
